3, basic lining material

Traditional alkaline lining is made of dry ramming with magnesium oxide. The advantage is high refractoriness, close to 2800℃, but the disadvantage is that the expansion coefficient is large, easy to crack, magnesium oxide lining corrosion resistance, long life, low price, is widely used. White corundum powder or spinel powder can greatly improve the service life.

4, spinel lining material

Spinel lining is a new kind of lining material. It is molded from alumina and magnesium oxide, fired or fused at high temperatures to pre-synthesize spinel, and then produces pellets of various sizes as needed. As a medium frequency lining, the binder is still selected borax or boric acid, which has the advantages of white corundum lining and magnesium oxide lining, but avoids its disadvantages.
