Technical operating rules for the construction of castable in hot metal ladle

1. Mold preparation:

The wall of the mold should be cleaned up to achieve smooth, and then evenly brushed with the release lubricating oil (butter and oil mix properly, can also be wrapped in iron) after the assembly is firm.

Second, mixing:

1. The mixer and vibration equipment should be turned on for trial operation to protect the normal equipment, and the mixer should be cleaned to prevent the mixing of debris.

2. After pouring the castable into the mixer, turn on and stir for 1-2 minutes, and then stir while adding water. The stirring time is 2 to 3 minutes. Must use clean tap water, with the quality ratio of the material to add, castable should be adjusted according to the site environment, to control the amount of water, according to the temperature change according to the corresponding proportion of the product model to add water, too much or too little water will affect the performance of the material. The method of testing whether the moisture of the mud material is suitable is: grab a handful of mixed mud material by hand, wrap it into a group, throw it 300mm high, 3 to 5 times, the surface of the mud water invention, no cracking, no flowing is moderate (small cracking moisture, large flowing water). After mixing, it can be used. Each stirring material must be used up within 30 minutes, where there is no fluidity after stirring for more than 30 minutes shall not be used.

Three, vibration molding:

1. The stirred castable is evenly poured into the membrane from all sides, and vibrated with a vibrator while adding the material, so that the surface of the slurry without a large number of bubbles discharged.

2. After vibration molding, the hot metal ladle should be moved to a dedicated area to dry naturally and placed horizontally.

Four, stripping:

1. After casting molding about ** or depending on the temperature to reach the strength of the mold. (Prevent too long time to cause difficulty in stripping)

2. When demoulding, the mold must be lifted vertically, and it is not allowed to force knock or pry open the mold, so as to avoid missing corners or damage to the pouring layer.

3. After demoulding, it is moved to a special area for natural drying and curing for 48 hours before ignition and baking.

4. When the fire is baking, the high temperature is about 1000℃, which can be slightly increased and should not be lower than 1000℃.

5. The specific baking scheme can be adjusted according to the site situation.
