Intermediate frequency furnace lining materials can generally be divided into three types, namely, acid lining materials, basic lining materials and neutral lining materials, then what is their composition ratio? Anetje's small edition introduces you one by one:
First, acid lining material: by quartz sand dry ramming molding, binder for borax or boric acid. Composition parameter ratio (chemical composition does not contain sintering agent), SiO2 is greater than or equal to 98.5 percent; Ca+MgO is less than or equal to 0.1 percent; Fe2O3 is less than or equal to 0.2 percent; Material density: 2.1g/cm3; Particle size: less than or equal to 8.1mm. Its use temperature: less than or equal to 1700℃. It is mainly used in continuous and intermittent working environment of non-ferrous and ferrous metals.
Second, basic lining material: by magnesia dry ramming molding, the binder is also borax or boric acid. MgO is greater than or equal to 93 percent; CaO is less than or equal to 4 percent; Fe2O3 is less than or equal to 1.5 percent; H2O is less than or equal to 0.5; Body density is greater than or equal to 2.7g/cm3; Particle size less than or equal to 6mm; Operating temperature: 1600℃-1700℃. Alkali lining is mainly used for smelting high manganese steel, heat resistant steel and ductile iron.
Third, neutral lining material, made of high bauxite clinker ramming molding. Main chemical composition: Al2O3 greater than or equal to 81%; Mg is greater than or equal to 7 percent; Fe2O3 is less than or equal to 1.5; Material density: 2.75g/cm3; Particle size <=6mm; Recommended temperature: 1650℃. The refractory material usually used as neutral furnace lining is high aluminum refractory material, which has the advantages of non-reaction with aluminum and aluminum alloy, non-etching, non-sticking slag and so on.
The above is about the proportion of various components in the intermediate frequency furnace lining material, I hope it will be helpful to you!
