In the construction of refractory castable, many construction teams do not have professional construction qualifications, and the delay of the project or material waste caused by unqualified construction quality often occurs. In fact, in the ** standard, very clear specifications have been made for the construction, maintenance, mold removal and construction of refractory castable prefabricated parts. The details are as follows:

(1) The surface of the insulated masonry in contact with the refractory castable shall be waterproof.

2. The refractory castable should be stirred by a forced mixer. Stirring time and liquid addition should be carried out according to the product instruction manual. When changing the material grade, the mixing machine, hopper and weighing container should be cleaned.

3, the stirred refractory castable should be poured within 30 minutes, or according to the product instructions in the specified time. Refractory castable which has been initially set shall not be used.

4, the steel bar or metal embedded parts in the refractory castable should be located on the non-heating surface. The contact between steel bars or metal embeddings and refractory castables shall be provided with an expansion buffer layer according to the design requirements.

5. The setting of the expansion joint of the whole cast refractory lining should comply with the design regulations. When the expansion joint is not specified in the design, it can be set according to the test results of the current ** standard "Thermal expansion Test Method for Refractory Materials" GB/T7320. For clay or high alumina refractory castables, etc., the following data can also be used for the average value of the expansion joint per meter long lining:

1 Clay refractory castable is 4mm6mm;

2 aluminate cement refractory castable is 6mm8mm;

3 Phosphate refractory castable is 6mm8mm;

4 water glass refractory castable is 4mm6mm;

5 Portland cement refractory castable is 5mm8mm.

6. Refractory castable should be vibrated and compacted. Vibrator or plate vibrator should be used. When using vibrators, the thickness of the pouring layer should not exceed 1.25 times the length of the working part of the vibrator; When using a plate vibrator, its thickness should not exceed 200mm.

7, heat insulation refractory castable should be manually tamped. When mechanical vibration is used, isolation and bulk density increase should be prevented.

8, refractory castable construction should be carried out continuously. Before the initial setting of the first layer refractory castable, the second layer refractory castable should be poured. Intermittent exceeding the initial setting time should be treated according to the requirements of construction joints. The construction joint shall be left at the center line of the same row of anchoring bricks.

9, refractory castable construction should be according to the design of the method of maintenance. When there is no design requirement, it can be implemented according to the provisions of Table 1. Refractory castable shall not be subjected to external force and vibration during maintenance.

10, the bearing template should be removed after the refractory castable reaches more than 70% of the design strength. Hot-set refractory castables should be baked to the specified temperature and then removed.

11, the quality of the on-site casting of refractory castable, for each grade or the same mix ratio should be tested every 20m3 for a batch of indenture test block, less than this number is also a batch of inspection. When the same grade or the same mix ratio is used for multiple construction, each construction should be retained test block. Test block inspection should be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the current relevant standards.

12, the surface of the refractory castable lining body can have slight mesh cracks, but there should be no cracks, holes, peeling and other defects.

13. The surface of the refractory castable prefabricated parts delivered to the construction site should include the following: the imprint of the production unit; Quality inspection mark; There are parts numbers on three different faces consistent with the construction drawings; Lifting point mark; Date of production.

14. Refractory castable prefabricated parts should not be placed in the open air. When it is necessary to lay out in the open, measures against rain and moisture should be taken.

15, when laying refractory castable prefabricated parts, the position and method of support should be in line with the stress of the prefabricated parts. The furnace top preform should not be placed in combination, and when it is necessary to place it, it should not be placed directly on the hanging brick of the furnace top preform.

16, refractory castable prefabricated parts should be equipped with lifting rings, when it is necessary to make temporary spares, should be carried out according to lifting requirements. When lifting refractory castable prefabricated parts, the strength of the prefabricated parts should reach the strength specified in the design. The refractory castable prefabricated parts should be lifted and handled lightly.

17, for the furnace top prefabricated with hanging bricks as a force transmission system, during the lifting and installation process, each hanging brick should be balanced and should not be damaged.

18. The width and treatment of the masonry gap of refractory castable prefabricated parts shall be implemented in accordance with the design provisions.
