The furnace lining material is mainly used in the melting process of gray iron, ductile iron and carbon steel in the foundry, and is suitable for continuous high temperature environment, and can also be used for smelting titanium alloy and high temperature non-ferrous metals.

Acid lining material selection to meet the following six characteristics:

1. The first acid lining material has the necessary structural strength at high temperature without softening and deformation.

2. It must be stable in volume at high temperature, so as not to crack due to expansion and contraction.

3. When the temperature changes sharply or is not heated evenly, it will not break and flake

4. It can resist the chemical erosion of metal solution, slag and furnace gas

5. Non-stick slag (or less stick slag), easy to clean, keep the integrity of the furnace lining.

6. Acid lining material has high strength. The reason is that when the centerless furnace dissolves metal, it produces a strong stirring force, and the molten liquid has a strong scouring of the furnace lining. Therefore, the material of the acid lining material is required to be dense and high strength, so that it can withstand scouring and run safely for a long time.
