Coil mastic is a coating material used on the inner surface of coreless inductor coils. It should be evenly applied to the inner surface of the coil with a thickness of approximately 6 mm. Use between coils can act as insulation. Add about 12%-14% water to achieve uniformity. Coil cement is used for the induction coil of the medium frequency coreless induction furnace. It is evenly spread on its surface and ramp to play a good insulation effect, effectively prevent the coil ignition caused by coil aging and water leakage, and also effectively prevent the furnace penetration caused by high temperature of molten steel. It is recommended that small repairs should be carried out 8 hours before building the furnace to allow for air drying. Large repairs or smearing of new coils are carried out on the furnace floor.
advantage
1. Acts as insulation between coil turns.
2. New coils can be applied or used as coil repair material.
3. High thermal conductivity.
4. It can effectively prevent the occurrence and expansion of the furnace.
peculiarity
Coil mastic has the characteristics of high strength, high density, high insulation, etc. It is a corundum mastic designed for the protection of coreless induction furnace coils. Coil mastic has a very good viscosity, and it is also very convenient to apply. The smooth surface formed on the coil can cushion the expansion and contraction of the working liner. In addition, the coil mud can also effectively prevent the leakage of metal melt and protect the coil from the breakdown of metal melt.
The mastic is made of high temperature resistant sand and powder as the substrate, adding an appropriate amount of compound additives and so on. The design fully considers the fire resistance, insulation and operability required by the use environment.
Its functions are as follows:
1 Protect the induction coil
1.1 The product has good high temperature performance. Once the metal liquid penetrates into the lining, it can protect the coil from the corrosion of the metal liquid.
1.2 Support the induction coil to prevent its deformation during use and removal of the furnace lining, especially for the furnace body with the ejection mechanism, with guidance and prevent the coil from being scratched.
2 Protect the intermediate frequency power supply
Coil mastic has good insulation properties. After coating the mastic between the induction coils, it can prevent the coil turn short circuit or discharge from causing excessive impulse current to burn the thyristor.
